Our mission is to mobilize our community, so the health, welfare, and education needs of all people are met with the ultimate goal being to improve their quality of life. From advancing health, youth opportunity and financial security to strengthening local resilience, United Way is mobilizing our community to action so all can thrive.
United Way is dedicated to four major impact areas:
- Healthy Community: We improve access to nutritious food and quality health services, so people have the resources they need to lead healthy lives.
- Youth Opportunity: We create pathways for young people to reach their goals, from early childhood education to college and career success.
- Financial Security: We connect people to education, tools, and job training so they have financial freedom and peace of mind.
- Community Resiliency: We help our community prepare for, prevent, and respond to challenges, from crisis support to disaster relief.
We bring together donors, businesses, nonprofits and community groups to invest in their neighbors and strengthen the Merrill area. Working together, we identify the community’s most critical needs and fund trusted partners whose mission aligns with our shared goals.
